Two new Italian Open Data initiatives launched
Initiatives launched during Italian Digital Day in Turin
During the Italian Digital Day in Turin, two new Open Data initiatives were launched by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
OpenCantieri is a vizualisation tool that shows information on the implementation of infrastructure projects.
The dataset that powers OpenCantieri is already available in open format on the new Open Data portal from the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry.
Most Italian Open Data is provided by dati.gov.it, the Italian Open Data Portal. They currently host 10,348 data sets. These can also be reached via the European Data Portal.
