Smart Cities session at EU DataViz 2019
Save the date and join the EU DataViz 2019 on Tuesday 12 November 2019 in Luxembourg! The event caters to data visualisation enthusiasts and those interested in discovering new tools to visualise data. It will address the specific needs of the community engaged in data visualisation for the public sector in Europe.
The event will gather several speakers to discuss the merits and impact of data visualisation and will be divided into several thematic sessions. One example is the thematic session - BUILDING SMART CITIES:
- Sharing vision through cutting-edge visualisation in Japan with Dr. Kentaro Akahoshi from the Cabinet Office of Japan.
- CityVis: urban data visualisation with Dr. Sebastian Meier and Victoria Boeck from the Technologiestiftung Berlin.
- The power of flying flags: visualisation for transparent EU structural investments by John Walsh from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy.
- DataViz: an inescapable tool for the development of 'smart cities' by Milan Kabác and Mickaël Marchese from Kereon Intelligence.
