Save the date and join the webinar “GeoDCAT-AP: adoption and implementation experiences of the geospatial extension to DCAT-AP” on Tuesday 16 July at 10:00 to 12:00 CEST (9:00 to 11:00 CET). The webinar is organised by the Semantic Interoperability Community (SEMIC) action of the ISA2 programme that aims to improve the semantic interoperability of e-Government systems, facilitate information exchange, and promote the provision of EU cross-border and cross-sectoral digital public services.
The GeoDCAT Application Profile for Data Portals in Europe (GeoDCAT-AP) was developed as an extension of the DCAT-AP specification under the ISA2 programme and enables users to search for datasets across data portals. This makes sharing descriptions of spatial datasets between spatial data portals and general data portals much easier and facilitates public and cross-sectoral access to similar datasets.
The webinar will present examples of GeoDCAT-AP implementation in the different EU Member States and its integration and possible adoption in specifications published by standardisation bodies, such as the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). In the webinar, participants can discuss GeoDCAT-AP with experts and share their experiences.
Register for the webinar by Friday 12 July 12:00 CEST (11:00 CET) and discover more about GeoDCAT-AP! Participants will receive the webinar connection details upon registration.
