The European Commission will soon launch a call for tenders to set up an EU-wide repository of requests for the re-use of public sector information. The main purpose of the repository would be to publish in a structured manner the essential elements of requests submitted by applicants to public sector bodies of the member states. The contents of the repository would be collected on the basis of voluntary submissions. A database of re-use requests will help improve the implementation of Open Data policies both on the national and EU levels by giving an insight into the preferences, demands and interests of re-users.
Interested economic operators can express their interest to participate in the call for tender until 28 April 2017 in writing to CNECT-SMARTfirstname.lastname@example.org.
