Curious about Open Data and looking for a collective session, following workshops, lectures and having discussions about the reuse of public sector information? From 28 August until 3 September 2016 it is possible with the Open Youth Academy in Istria, Croatia. This event is organised by the Code for Croatia expert group and the Information Commissioner of Croatia.
The goal of the academy is for the participants to explore the potential of Open Data, to discuss open government values and sustainable development goals from both a theoretical and practical point of view. These subjects will be discussed following examples from various European countries and from recent developments within Croatia. The programme and workshops will be created and given by experts from Croatia and other countries.
Would you like to participate in this event? If you are aged between 15 and 30 years old, with an interest and ideas about how to (re-)use of Open Data, you can apply for participation. Up to 30 candidates will be selected based on their ideas and with respect to the regional and gender balance. The application deadline is on 10 July 2016, 00:00 CEST.
