Seminar series on Open Data in the Public sector

The Athens Node of the Open Data Institute has kicked off its series of seminars on Open Data in the Greek public sector. The Greek government recently implemented legislation to open up and stimulate the re-use of public sector information, documents and data. The seminar aims to strengthen the awareness and knowledge of (high level) civil servants working with these type of data to ensure a smooth implementation of Open Data in the public administration.

Participating in the seminar will provide you with knowledge on the benefits of Open Data, the steps to open up public data and how to organise the infrastructure to facilitate Open Data. Although the seminars are targeting managers of public administrations on multiple levels and public entities, they are open for anyone with an interest in Open Data.
