One week until INSPIRE study deadline

Share your incentives and actions by 5 November

An EU Directive established in 2007 the Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE), to promote spatial data. However, there are still conditions and limitations on the re-use of public sector spatial data, restricting information sharing for public authorities and third-parties.

To address this, the European Commission launched a survey to collect public authority providers', public authority users', and third-party users' experience and views on the quality and content of the Directive with the aim of lowering obstacles to sharing spatial data.

The European Commission invites you to share your incentives and actions on the survey by 5 November to help the European Commission and EU Member States to better understand the state-of-play and plan for further action. In addition, you can share your insights and use cases with the EDP via mail, Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn to contribute to our research in this field.
