Looking back at ICADEIS 2019 in Indonesia

In February 2019, the first Annual International Conference on Advancement in Data Science, E-learning and Information Systems 2019 (ICADEIS 2019) was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia with the theme: "Data" is the Key to the Success of 4th Industrial Revolution. The event was organised by the Open Data Research Center, Information System Department, Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Telkom University of Indonesia.

This international conference hosted keynote speeches and full paper presentations about new research findings on e-learning, data science and information system and open data. One example of a keynote speaker was Marijn Janssen, an ICT & Governance Professor from TU Delft, who discussed best practices of open data in data governance. All the accepted papers submitted for the conference will be published in a Scopus-Indexed journal, such as the International Journal of Advanced Science, Engineering and Information Technology (IJASEIT), International Journal of Integrated Engineering (IJIE) and International Journal of Engineering and Technology (IJET).
