The European Big Data Value Forum in Versailles

European Data Portal will be present with a booth

The European Data Forum (EDF) is a key European event for industry professionals, business developers, researchers, and policy makers to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the European data economy and data-driven innovation in Europe. Likewise, the BDVA Summit (held by the Big Data Value Association, the private counterpart to the European Commission in the Big Data Value PPP) has quickly grown into a renowned event for all stakeholders in the European data economy. This year EDF and BDVA join forces to bring you the European Big Data Value Forum that will be held in Versailles (Palais des Congrès), France from 21 to 23 November 2017.

Keynotes and presentations will range from introducing cutting-edge industrial applications of Big Data and Open Data technologies, innovative business cases of the data economy, all the way to inspiring future visions and insights on EU policy-making in this area. Ideas exchanged at the event will most certainly have an impact on the design of future research and innovation programmes and policy decisions both at the EU and Member States level. This will push data-driven innovation further and strengthen the European data economy as well as strengthen Europe's position worldwide.

The European Data will be having a booth at the event, showcasing its activities and highlighting the importance of Open Data for the European data economy. If you like to meet the European Data Portal at the event, please register at the conference website. Registration will open in September. A draft programme is already available.

We hope to see you in Versailles!
