Agroknow is a Greek service that collects, manages, and organises agricultural information to support farmers in increasing and improving their harvests. The service focuses on knowledge management and conducts research on knowledge-intensive technology innovations for agriculture, food, and biodiversity. Organisations and people can get support on how to address societal and environmental challenges using solutions that are informed and enhanced by high-quality data. This is possible because Agroknow has extensive experience in building services for the agricultural community through supporting EU-funded projects related to the management of agricultural information and from collaborations with leaders in agricultural research.
Agroknow is hosting the Data Processing Unit of the traditional AGRIS service - a global information system collecting research on agricultural science and technology and making it accessible.
