Partnership agreement in Luxembourg

Opening up data about court decisions

On November 2019, the General Prosecutor? Office of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Lefebvre Sarrut, and Larcier Luxembourg, announced that they signed a partnership agreement that aimed to evaluate artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. The purpose of this evaluation is to anonymise court decisions and their implementation so that the data can be made open and available to the public. This agreement is valid for a period of six months.

Lefebvre Sarrut is a legal publisher that operates in several European countries. They provide information and training in legal and tax departments across Europe. Through the agreement, the General Prosecutor? Office can take advantage of the resources offered by Lefebvre Sarrut and Larcier, including their deep learning technologies, to accelerate the implementation of the policy of openness and sharing.
