Big Data, Internet of Things and cybersecurity for SMEs

Support specialised skills development and sustainable growth

With the rise of new technologies many employees need to upgrade their digital skills. That especially counts for Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), who compose 95% of the European economy. Many SMEs and start-ups provide or use digital solutions that require specialised skills. To strategize measures for skill development and support countries in the implementation, insights about the level of skills regarding new technologies is needed. By defining a status quo, skill gaps and the development progress can be monitored and analysed.

Therefore, the survey "Big Data, Internet of Things and Cybersecurity for SMEs", founded by the European Commission, addresses skill needs of SMEs with regards to cybersecurity, Big Data and IoT. With your participation, knowledge about how SMEs apply new technologies and which skills are needed can be derived. Challenges and possible solutions can be mapped. Support sustainable growth of SMEs and take part in the survey.
