The Open Sustainable Development Goals Data Hub

An initiative that promotes exploring and analyzing SDG data sources to find patterns and interrelationships

Discover the Open Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Data Hub - an initiative that promotes the exploration, analysis, and use of authoritative SDG data sources for evidence-based decision-making and advocacy. The initiative goal is to enable decision makers, data providers, managers, and users to discover, understand, and communicate about patterns and interrelationships from the available SDG data and statistics.

The SDGs are 17 global goals set by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in 2015 and are part of the UN's Resolution 70/1, otherwise known as the 2030 Agenda. On the Open SDG Data Hub, users can easily download the available datasets on the 17 SDGs in multiple formats and can explore these datasets by producing maps and other data visualisations and analyses. In addition, the platform provides SDG APIs to provide alternative access to the data used for global reporting. The database on the Open SDG Data Hub contains data on the global SDG indicators used in the Sustainable Development Goals Report 2018 and includes country-level data and regional and global aggregates.
