Optimise water irrigation and promote sustainability

Aquadaia is an application that enables users to the optimal amount of water for crop growth

Aquadaia is a service launched by the company Daia Intelligent Solutions. The application is free of charge and allows users to know the amount of water needed in a crop for optimal growth. Thus, by using the application, users can optimise their water use in irrigation and promote economic, social and environmental sustainability.

Aquadaia uses meteorological data obtained form the nearest weather station to provide information to users. In addition, they utilise mining techniques to integrate meteorological data from different sources, such as Aemet, Euskalmet and Siar.

Aquadaia is one of the over 550 use cases published on the European Data Portal (EDP). If you are aware of another inspiring use case, share your experience and knowledge on different applications and websites using open data with the EDP via mail, Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn.
