Join the EU Datathon 2019 this Thursday 13 June in Brussels, Belgium! Discover and get inspired by the shortlisted ideas that will discuss one of the challenges selected for this year:

- Challenge 2: New insights into economics and finance.
- Challenge 3: Tackling climate change.
This year again, the EDP will support the EU Datathon and be a jury member for Challenge 1: Innovative ideas through EU open data.
The EU Datathon is an annual event that aims to stimulate the re-use of open data and support competitors in showcasing their data skills and innovative ideas. Participants are invited to develop applications and interactive visualisations that offer new services or insights to citizens, public authorities and businesses.
This year, the EU Datathon 2019 is organised by the Publications Office of the European Union in partnership with the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Data enthusiasts across Europe are invited to join the event, get inspired by the pitches, and network with people who are also passionate about data!
