SaferGlobe, an independent peace and security think-tank, released the Finnish Arms Control Report. This report aims to reach greater transparency in arms trade, while at the same time develop knowledge in international arms control. SaferGlobe believes that monitoring and controlling arms export helps to mitigate and even prevent conflicts.
The report is presented by an interactive map. This visualisation provides an overview of the destinations to which Finland exports its arms and in what direction global arms trade is developing.
