Open Data Day is an international annual event for data enthusiasts to connect and build solutions to complex social issues by using open data, in dialogue with concerned communities. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of Open Data Day and the Open Knowledge Foundation.

Open Data Day 2020 has several tracks:

  • Environmental data
  • Tracking public money flows
  • Open mapping
  • Data for equal development

Like previous years, the event will continue its mini-grant scheme to support Open Data Day events across the world.
Need some inspiration for an Open Data Day event or unsure of where to find the data you need? Check out the event's resources. Interested in hosting an event? Apply now to receive up to $300 USD (€275.50) in support for your event through the Open Data Day 2020 mini-grant scheme.
