Save the date and join the 9th edition of the Aporta Meeting on 18 December 2019! The event will be in Madrid, Spain and will focus on high-value datasets (HVDs). HVDs are datasets that provide greater contributions to the economy and society, notable through their re-use. The European Commission previously identified six thematic dataset categories that have been identified as high-value - geospatial, Earth observation and environment, meteorological, statistical, companies and company ownership and mobility. Datasets from these categories are expected to be key to boosting innovative services and generating socio-economic and environmental benefits across Europe.
The 9th edition of the Aporta Meeting will be structured in 3 tables:
- Table 1: Towards the availability of HVDs.
- Table 2: Accelerating the use of HVDs.
- Table 3: New technological paradigms and the importance of data for their development.
Each table will focus on different actors linked to the data ecosystem: HVDs publishers, accelerators that boost HVDs re-use and companies that generate high-value services and products based on re-use.
The full agenda will be made available shortly. Follow the event news with the hashtag #Aporta2019.
