On 13-15 June 2017, this year’s edition of the Open Innovation 2.0 Conference took place. After three successful editions hosted in Ireland, Finland and the Netherlands, this year’s conference was organised in Romania’s picturesque city of Cluj-Napoca. Like every year, the conference brought together innovation experts, policy-makers, academic scholars, practitioners and interested individuals dealing with innovation and entrepreneurship.
The 2017 conference was embedded in a full week of events surrounding the Open Innovation topic that kicked-off with the Cluj Innovation Dialogue on 10-11 June and the Innovation Luminary Awards Gala Dinner, and ended with a Town Hall Debate supported by the European Committee of the Regions on 13 June. In addition, an innovation exhibition presenting projects and activities related to Open Innovation enchanted this year’s conference participants.
During this series of interconnected events on Open Innovation, 500 participants from 20 countries had the opportunity to attend a broad variety of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions surrounding the topic of Open Innovation.
