The Dutch House of Representatives opens up

Open Data Portal to be launched in February

The Dutch House of Representatives ('Tweede Kamer') has announced that the first version of their Open Data Portal will be launched in February. This portal will allow citizens from the Netherlands and abroad to search and download publicly available data. The data to be made available includes among others bills, motions, amendments and reports discussed in the parliament.

The Open Data portal will be linked to the website of the House of Representatives, which has been recently renewed. On the Open Data Portal, an API will be made available for developers. This API offers developers the opportunity to integrate data from the House of Representatives in their own applications.

More information about the Open Data Portal can be found in the article on the latest layout improvements of the website of the Dutch House of Representatives.
