The Drivers of Data Sharing

Join our next Data Talk session on “The Drivers of Data Sharing” to learn more on factors behind data sharing and open data regulation

Save the date and join the European Data Portal (EDP) and Support Centre for Data Sharing (SCDS) next Data Talk “The Drivers of Data Sharing” on Wednesday 14 October at 13:00 CET. The EDP and SCDS host Data Talk sessions every fortnight on topics related to open data and data sharing, free of charge. Everyone is welcome to join these discussions to learn more from the speakers and to share their experiences.

The team will be joined by Laia Pujol from Lisbon Council to discuss the analytical report “From Regulation to Adoption: The Drivers of Data Sharing” and her research on factors behind governmental compliance towards data sharing and open data regulations, with a focus on:

  1. The different commitments to open data at the local government level where similar municipalities in the region of Lombardy (Italy) diverge in their actions towards open data; and
  2. The different commitments towards data sharing by two comparable public agencies in the Oil and Gas industry in the Netherlands and Norway.

This Data Talk session will be hosted on WebEx and shared on the EDP and SCDS channels. Join the session to learn more and we look forward to seeing you there.
