Deutsche Bahn opens traffic schedules
Long distance traffic schedule now accessible by API
Deutsche Bahn, the railway company of Germany, embraces Open Data and makes its time table accessible via API. After having experimented first with opening their data to selected partners such as Google, Deutsche Bahn now publishes its schedule under an open licence.
For the moment the API only contains a segment of the Deutsche Bahn database, namely long distance traffic, but this will grow during the upcoming period. Deutsche Bahn invites developers to use the information in their applications. Interested? Contact the DB Open Data Team for more information.
