Optimising practical use of Open Data
The national Open Data portal of Croatia now lists new applications based on Open Data. The most recent 2018 app is HAKmap. Looking for a gas station, hospital or one of Croatia's national parks? This interactive map-based solution provides drivers with valuable road and facility information.
The interactive map of HAK utilises cartographic tools and (public) data. Developers from Infinum used various technological solutions to make the app compatible with the online map services of major providers such as Google, Microsoft and Zagreb's Mireo.
