Last week on 7 and 8 November, the roundtable event Accelerating a sustainable European data economy was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The event is part of a series of workshops organised by the European Commission on data exchange, with a focus on future policy and funding activities in areas around the data economy.
The roundtable Accelerating a sustainable European data economy was organised by the City of Amsterdam and the European Commission with the aim of bringing together the most advanced data exchange initiatives across Europe. This roundtable specifically addressed the question of what types of data exchange architectures can enable data exchange in Europe and can create the most value for industry and innovation. The results from this workshop will feed into the High Level Conference on Data Economy event organised by the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU, which will take place in Helsinki on 25 November.
