Save the Date: Game of Code

Save the date and join the hackathon “Game of Code 2020” on June 19 and 20, 2020, in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. Create your team, choose among the 3 challenges proposed to develop an innovative digital product within 24 hours, and exchange your ideas with other coding enthusiasts. This year’s challenges are:

1. Open Banking Challenge – participants will attempt to ideate and implement a new integrated product based on real Open Banking use cases, such as personal financial management and next level payment solutions.
2. Open Data Challenge – participants are expected to create new apps, services and visualisations that make use of data from the Luxembourg Open Data Portal to improve the social cohesion of the country’s digital society.
3. Game App Challenge – participants will create a mobile game (native or web app) that delivers the practical information and tips and tricks expats and locals need to work and live in Luxembourg.

Held in parallel with Game of Code 2020 is the challenge Lëtz Cybersecurity Challenge. This competition targets open-minded creative digital natives and aims to encourage young people to pursue a career in cybersecurity and related disciplines.
