EDP and FIWARE launch new partnership
FIWARE provides an enhanced OpenStack-based cloud environment plus a rich set of open standard APIs
The European Data Portal and FIWARE are proud to announce a collaboration with the objective to create synergies between the two initiatives for better serving users' needs.
FIWARE is the European open service platform for building interoperable and smart Internet based services.
The collaboration with FIWARE will help in bringing Europe's Open Data closer to the fingertips of the growing open community of thousands of FIWARE developers, startups and new users in Europe and world-wide.
In the future the two initiatives will jointly consider ways to harvest the trend towards more real-time open data by making use of the de-facto standard FIWARE NGSI.
